GTA 6 Leonida map details and Vice City size

Once free roam actually opens up in Leonida, the word is that you can explore without many restrictions holding you back. There are supposedly about 10 cities and towns spread across 5 counties in there. Vice City alone is pegged at roughly double the size of Los Santos, and the areas around it make GTA 5's countryside look pretty small by comparison. The map itself goes way beyond just landmass though. You've got islands, spots underwater, hundreds of interiors to duck into, fog of war hiding what's ahead, and even detailed 3D mapping that could help you scope out a heist beforehand. The police side ties into all of it too. Crime heat zones show up on the map to indicate where officers are still keeping an eye out for you, and at 6 stars, that heat zone reportedly covers the entire map. #GrandTheftAuto
