Julián Álvarez Atlético Madrid despair

Julián Álvarez looks like a stranger after Atlético Madrid's loss, completely unrecognizable from the smiling champion we used to know. The Argentine star is stuck with the Colchoneros for another season despite his clear wish to play for FC Barcelona. The board fought hard to keep him even though his dream was always about joining the spider. This feels like the worst moment in his career, especially considering he has already won the World Cup and Champions League. He isn't smiling anymore, and the guy who was always happy seems gone now. It hurts to see a player this way when the club has negatively impacted him so deeply. What happened to Julián Álvarez is something that will be remembered as a dark chapter where a person was destroyed.
