Robert Moreno South Korea coach AI

Robert Moreno is back on the sidelines, this time taking charge of South Korea. The KFA confirmed his appointment as the new manager for the national team, though he'll only be in an interim role until the end of the year. It's a quick return to management for Moreno, who was let go by PFC Sochi in September 2025 after a season defined by terrible results and some wild claims about how he ran things. The sporting director at Sochi, Andrei Orlov, dropped a heavy detail: Moreno allegedly leaned on artificial intelligence to pick line-ups, schedule training sessions, and even suggest transfers. That tech-heavy approach didn't exactly work out in Russia. Now he's getting another shot with less than a year having passed since his dismissal, but hopefully the next batch of decisions won't rely so heavily on a chatbot like ChatGPT. Someone really needs to remember to cancel that subscription before it gets too expensive. #RobertMoreno
