John Cena Farewell Tour Glasgow Scotland

The narrative around John Cena's final moments in Glasgow, Scotland shifts when he clarifies that the heel turn wasn't his brainchild but Paul Triple H's idea. He recalls how Paul asked and within two seconds he said yes, treating the decision with the same instinct as facing Brock or tapping out to Gunther where the answer is just yes. This approach defines how he does business, letting him tell the story his way even if they never did it because he would have been fine. Reflecting on the whole thing now, he wouldn't change a single thing despite acknowledging that a lot of folks will say the heel turn failed creatively even though they sold out. He accepts that critique fully while noting that a lot of folks were upset with the finish of the last match, yet he feels great about swinging boldly in his final moment at WWE. The bold move serves as a lesson for younger talent to take chances without fear of failure since he is glad they got to do it so he can speak to them now. He emphasizes coming from a place of activity rather than a place of privilege where he sits in some sort of protective bubble.
