🏛️Donald Trump🏢Supreme Court of the United States🏛️Federal Reserve

    Trump jobs August interest rates

With employers adding 162,000 jobs in August, the numbers blew past most forecasts, though not mine. That kind of hiring momentum should push the Fed to cut interest rates, especially since U.S. credit is in better shape than it was a short while back. A strong economy means lower borrowing costs because you're a safer bet, simple as that. We ought to be at the lowest rate in the World, like we were back in the old days. If countries with big surpluses won't play ball, we can just stop taking their goods and they'd lose that financially elite status real quick. And for those we run a deficit with, cut the rate or I'll halt trade altogether, the Supreme Court's tariff ruling already gave the President that absolute right, even if it was a costly decision. Tariffs are the better tool here. The Fed Board, with its new leader, needs to think smart and show some patriotism for once. High rates put us at a clear disadvantage, and that's not something I'll sit back and watch happen.
