Kawhi Leonard Clippers contract details

Kawhi Leonard is 35 years old, which means he's an adult who deserves mature treatment according to Pablo Torre. Torre asserts that Leonard knew exactly about the Clippers' situation and points out that we have documents showing a contract involving Aspiration with a $28 million figure signed by Leonard himself. Financial transaction records are available too. NBA reports specifically mention Leonard requesting a change in payment structure from Aspiration instead of accepting what they initially proposed. They were going to give you seven years in stock and five years in salary, but Leonard asked them to flip how they pay him. This isn't Dennis Robertson; it's Mr. Leonard in the report asking for different terms. Torre says, "I'm a big fan of treating adults like adults." The quote comes via Stephen A. Smith.
