Luis Eduardo Baptista reacts as Gonzalo Plata returns

Gonzalo Plata is heading back to Flamengo after the Russians at Dynamo Moscow decided to cancel the transfer deal that everyone thought was already locked in. This reversal comes right after Flamengo president Luis Eduardo Baptista went on record saying he was thrilled about the sale because it meant they wouldn't have to patrol Rio de Janeiro at night just to check how much Plata was drinking. The situation feels like KARMA serving a perfect punchline since the club's leadership had already celebrated the exit of the player who was supposed to be gone. Now that the negotiations are off, the plan to let him leave has collapsed and he is returning home instead. #GonzaloPlata #ClubeDeRegatasDoFlamengo
