Grayson Waller NXT return promo

The idea that WWE never actually watched NXT or knew who Grayson Waller is feels like the core of why he felt compelled to speak for two years straight. It wasn't just about a return; it was about correcting the record on how the main roster operates regarding weekly opportunities, since not everyone gets a shot every single week. He insists they never showed his true identity, leaving him trapped in a perception where he was just a joke, a talk show host, and a silly guy. While he claims he's the best talker in WWE alongside Roman and Punk, he notes this banter comes naturally as an Australian lad born doing it, yet nobody saw that side before. Now he's finally getting the chance to show who Grayson Waller really is because he isn't playing a character, he says the same things face-to-face as behind the scenes. That night was just him venting after a long period of hating himself and struggling with self-reflection, making it tough to even look in the mirror without forgetting who you are. He denies being a little mark on Twitter trying to start hashtags for support since he cares more about his own opinion than what fans think. You forget who you are when you can't look at yourself, wondering what you've done with yourself and realizing you used to be someone.
