He described the moment vividly, noting that when lightning struck him, the sensations throughout his entire body were completely incredible: tingling, numbness, pain. He added that he just felt intense burning all over. Despite those severe feelings, multiple examinations found no burns on Thomas Fahmi's body at all; he was thoroughly examined several times, and no burns were found. On Sunday, Thomas Fahmi attended church to thank God for his survival, saying specifically: 'Thank you, God.' The man does not cross himself until the thunder crashes.
