John Bai Grok Bot design breakdown

The reality of building Grok Bot just got a massive breakdown by John Bai, who was the very first design hire at Cursor in NYC before moving to SpaceXAI. He spent 48 minutes walking through the actual product development process instead of just showing off the final result. The deep dive covers the mascot, and why a face changes how people trust an agent. It also explains the onboarding they built and killed before launch, plus why they kept chat even when agents outgrew it. There is even a section on how he uses bots to design the bots. This content is the clearest look at converting computer-based agents into tools people actually want to use, whether you are new or familiar with Cursor. For those wanting the full strategy, there is a guide describing Grok Bot as a $30k/month creative engine operated by a single individual. #SpaceXAI
