US strikes Iran near Strait of Hormuz

Trump has been saying it all along: the US Space Force watches Iran's every move in the Strait of Hormuz before they can even think about launching mines or disrupting shipping. CENTCOM says the strikes hit at noon. Yingst is on the ground reporting that Space Force and the Navy are positioned at the blockade line in the Gulf of Oman, tracking any Iranian attempts to move air defense systems or radars. Those are likely the targets being hit right now, he says. The strikes are widespread, not just Bandar Abbas but also Qeshm Island and areas further south near the Gulf of Oman. This all started with Iranian attacks on vessels in the Strait and the earlier attack on US forces in Jordan. The US hit Larrakh Island because Iran was preparing rockets with sea mines, then Iran launched eight ballistic missiles at US troops in Jordan. Now the US is sending a clear message: threats against international waterways won't be tolerated. I still don't get why Iran keeps pushing this when the outcome is always the same. Just end it already.
