A nearly 90,000-square-foot White House ballroom gets the green light to keep going while legal challenges are still rolling out. The Supreme Court split down the middle with five justices voting to let Trump continue construction even though the project's actual legality never got a final call. Instead the majority focused on whether the preservation group suing actually has standing to stop it, deciding they likely do not. Chief Justice John Roberts was part of the three liberal justices who dissented and said this building is probably illegal.
