Pokemon Wildcard 2027 CloverWorks

Seven years of waiting for a theatrical Pokemon film finally ends with the official announcement of Pokemon Wildcard. This new anime movie centers entirely on the trading card game and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2027. Studio CloverWorks is handling all animation production while Katsuhiko Kitada takes the director chair. Akemi Hayashi returns as character designer after their work on Banana Fish and Fruits Basket.
