Dembélé renews PSG contract until 2030

Luis Enrique deserves all the credit for what Ousmane Dembélé has become at PSG. When the Frenchman arrived from BARÇA, everyone knew he had blistering pace, but his irregularity and poor decision-making were constant talking points. Then the coach made the bold call to shift him into the center of attack, and the results have been absurd. Across 53 matches in that role, Dembélé has bagged 35 goals and 16 assists, plus a Champions League title and a Ballon d'Or to his name. He turned down offers from Saudi Arabia and other European clubs to sign a new deal that keeps him in Paris until 2030. The transformation from a talent who frustrated fans to a guy who simply wins trophies is one of the wildest coaching successes in recent memory.
