Rafael Leão joins Galatasaray

Rafael Leão just stepped onto the pitch as a Galatasaray player in front of over 53,000 fans. The 27-year-old Portuguese footballer has officially moved from AC Milan to the Turkish club after turning down a proposal from Aston Villa, the Europa League champion managed by Unai Emery. Reports say the choice came down to economic factors, but there is still a hope he finds his peak form again. People always expected more from him throughout his career. His early coach at Sporting once said he had never seen talent like Rafael Leão except for Cristiano Ronaldo. That was the level of expectation placed on this player. THE TRUE 'WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN AND WAS NOT' feels heavy here.
