David Beckham mohawk Sir Alex Ferguson

David Beckham once admitted rocking a mohawk during his Manchester United days, though the timing was anything but casual. He knew Sir Alex Ferguson wouldn't have any of it, so he hid the look under a beanie for the first few training sessions to keep it out of sight. The cover-up didn't last past match day when he had to remove the beanie for warm-ups. Ferguson spotted the style immediately and ordered him to shave that off right now. When Beckham initially laughed at the command, Ferguson's expression shifted completely. He repeated himself with serious intent, making it clear he wasn't joking about shaving it off right now. David Beckham ended up complying by heading to the bathroom and removing the hairstyle entirely. It's hard to imagine such an incident playing out in today's football world.
