Zlatan Ibrahimovic Messi Barcelona UNICEF trophy

The 2010 Champions League series between Barcelona and Arsenal had a turning point nobody expected after the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw with Zlatan Ibrahimovic netting two goals for the away team. Before the return leg, an injury kept Zlatan out of the lineup, so he went straight to Lionel Messi to tell him it was his turn to carry the squad on his shoulders. The message was clear: since Zlatan had already scored two beautiful goals, Messi needed to finish the job alone. What followed was one of those monstrous individual performances where Messi scored four goals and dominated the match. After the final whistle, Zlatan found Messi in the locker room to congratulate him and admit that today, Messi was better than Zlatan.
