Alan Ritchson DCU Batman clarification

The internet has been convinced Alan Ritchson is the next Batman, but he's drawing a hard line there. He says words have been exchanged about the role, yet he strongly doesn't think that Batman is in his future. That said, the conversation isn't over for him entirely. Ritchson confirms he has had extensive discussions with James Gunn regarding joining the DCU, where they even teased a potential messier role within the universe. It sounds like the dynamics are shifting toward something more complex than a caped crusader. Still, he holds onto the hope that a future involvement with DC remains true. I think there is something in my future with DC, and he would like that to remain true.
