Zico dropped some serious clarity in a CazeTV interview about who he's backing in the Copa do Brasil. He made it clear that while Flamengo isn't an option anymore since they aren't in Rio de Janeiro, Vasco is the only remaining team to root for down there. It wasn't just about personal preference though; he really thinks it would be good for the whole state if Vascão could give local football a massive lift and keep putting Rio on the map. The logic behind this is pretty solid considering Vasco already took Fluminense out of the picture, so crossing paths again before means they have a chance to make things happen for the region.
