He admits feeling like there are still several good years left in his career, but staying conscious of the possibility that things might not go as planned or that returning to the squared circle could become impossible pushed him to explore other avenues early. That path included landing some work in Quebec back home and securing representation for potential roles. Looking further down the road, he talks about wanting to step away from wrestling to rescue animals, own some land, and give them a place to live.
