Seike Yukiko is taking the reins on a manga adaptation for Yutaka Kono's light novel series, which goes by multiple titles including 'I Don't Know How to Say Goodbye', 'Theme of the Water & Biscuit', and the 'Kamizaki' series. The Japanese title is (Sayonara no Iikata nante shiranai.). This new version kicks off publication on Comic Days in Fall 2026. The story centers on a high school boy who is smart but cowardly. He spends his time searching for his best friend who vanished two years ago. His journey leads him to an unknown town where things get complicated fast. There he runs into people with supernatural abilities while an ongoing war rages around him.
