The alarm system is freezing transport across the entire country and directing everyone straight into shelters. This permanent air raid state in Ukraine happens because Russia now sends small, constant waves of attacks instead of overloading defenses like before. It only takes these small waves to hit targets since Ukrainian air defense is gone. Impacts are showing up everywhere with Kyiv taking the brunt. The timeline today proves it: alarms triggered at 02:28, 02:39 AM, then a 53-minute break, followed by 03:32, 03:46 AM, a tight 3-minute break, then 03:49, 04:00 AM, a long 65-minute break, 05:05, 07:18 AM with a 56-minute break, 08:04, 08:46 AM for a 33-minute break, 09:17, 09:36 AM for 39 minutes, 10:05, 10:27 AM for 29 minutes, 10:56, 11:41 AM for 2 hours 36 minutes, 02:17, 02:47 PM for 1 hour 58 minutes, 04:45, 07:09 PM for 55 minutes, and finally 08:04, 09:08 PM which was ongoing when this post went out. While Kyiv Metro stops trains on above-ground sections during these alerts and uses underground stations as shelters, Nova Poshta suspends customer service completely. Malls, cinemas, gyms, and other businesses may halt operations and direct visitors to shelters. The situation is critical across Ukraine.
