    Neuron wiring and neural pathways

Every single thought fires a signal that travels down the axon. One mental event equals one firing. When you repeat those thoughts over and over, the pathway gets built so fast you stop noticing it at all. That is exactly how you became who you are. It wasn't some massive decision or sudden breakthrough that shaped you. It was repeating the same thoughts until they felt like your own identity. The voice whispering 'i can't do this' is wired into your system. The habit of overthinking? Wired. The fear of being seen? Also wired. People run these old pathways for so long they forget they were ever constructed in the first place. You are not broken. You are just running on old wiring. Here is the good news: you can build new pathways. This isn't done by forcing yourself to 'think positive'. Building new pathways happens by firing a new signal again and again. Eventually the new pathway becomes stronger than the old one through pure repetition.
