Julián Álvarez Atlético de Madrid rumors

The standoff between Julián and Atlético de Madrid is nowhere near finished. Reports out of Spain outline a strategy with a brutally clear goal from the club. Simeone reportedly refused to call up the Argentine, yet the board pushed hard to keep him on the list anyway. The plan allegedly involved letting him face a harsh reception at the Metropolitano, expecting loud boos from the stands. They are also said to have blocked him from joining the celebrations with the cheer section. All of this points to one aim: making Julián feel like he has no choice but to agree to a move to Arsenal for 150 million before the window shuts. There is just one major hurdle in that design. The player is still holding out for Barcelona. With both sides dug in, this saga clearly has plenty more chapters left to play out.
