Stella Lefty told Vanity Fair she gave Noah Kahan writing credits on her song 'Boston' after his reps flagged similarities to 'Stick Season'. She explained, "When I was writing the song, I wasn't thinking about Noah Kahan. I was literally thinking about nothing at all." Upon hearing "We think this sounds similar," she decided to add the credit just to avoid stepping on anybody's toes.
