Nneka Ogwumike has officially announced her retirement from the WNBA following a 15-season career. The 2016 WNBA champion and 2016 WNBA MVP starts with a legacy that includes being named the 2012 Rookie of the Year and landing on the WNBA All-Rookie Team in 2012. Her resume features 11× WNBA All-Star selections, 8x All-WNBA honors, and 7x WNBA All-Defensive team nods. She also earned a spot on the WNBA 25th Anniversary Team.
