April 29, 2008 dropped Grand Theft Auto IV and the numbers were insane. First day brought in $310M+ from 3.6 million copies sold. That first week hit 6 million units with over $500M in revenue. Worldwide sales have since crossed 25 million copies. Even after 18 years, GTA IV remains one of Rockstar's biggest hits. Niko Bellic adjusting his gloves makes me wonder if I'd play again in 2026.
