Trump on Joint Military Exercises and Iran

Donald J. Trump says he is unhappy the United States agreed long ago to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea. He claims these drills cost a lot, with much of the expense paid by the United States, and sends a signal that is inappropriate and hostile to North Korea. Trump characterizes North Korea as harmless and respectful during his presidency. Since it is too late to cancel the events, he has instructed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to substantially reduce the Joint Military Exercises. On an unrelated note, Donald J. Trump recently asked the President of South Korea if they would like to join the Denuclearization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The President of South Korea responded No thank you.
