Sixers schedule advantage graphic

The NBA schedule might have quietly done the Philadelphia 76ers a favor. Joel Embiid has spent years managing his workload, and LeBron James is entering his 24th NBA season at age 41. Philly needs a schedule that gives their stars room to breathe rather than testing their depth every other night. A graphic indicates the Sixers have the fewest back-to-back games, the fewest three games in four nights, and no Western Conference matchups until Game 18. That structure could become a huge advantage over 82 games since Embiid, LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, and Tyrese Maxey form one of the most dangerous top ends in the league. For this team, availability might be the difference between being a contender and being a disappointment.
