Weverton Grêmio on new time-wasting rules

Weverton, Grêmio's goalkeeper, made a self-criticism about the implementation of the new rules against time-wasting: "I think something has to be done, it can't be like it was anymore. I just think this issue of knowing whether it's true or not, every time a goalkeeper falls, gets hit, someone will leave the field, I think it's going to be a bit strange when it comes to judging. Maybe this came because of us, because of the way we want to win a match. This made me think, will I have to play with pain? Will I now have to endure the pain? To what extent will it hinder me later in the sequence of the play. I think it helps (the new rules). It's funny because when we're on the field, we want to win and do ugly things even to win a game, fall to the ground, waste time, and when I'm at home I start to watch and say: 'I know what the fan feels.' But it's hard, sometimes you transform on the field. I see that it's an important movement to improve." The Grêmio player's caveats were for cases in which the goalkeeper is attended to because he actually suffered a blow and still loses a outfield player; It is not specified in the new rules, but the CBF in the presentation to the athletes said that in these cases there will be no exit of a player from the field.
