Pep Guardiola on shocking United loss

Pep Guardiola points to a match against Manchester United two seasons ago as the most shocking moment of his coaching career. Manchester City held a 1-0 lead and controlled the flow before United found an equalizer. Amad then scored the winning goal in the final moments to make it 2-1, leaving Guardiola completely speechless since he never imagined the match would turn around like that. What shocked him even more happened after the final whistle while walking down the tunnel. Amad walked over and stretched out his hand to shake his. He wasn't expecting that gesture at all and for a brief moment just stood there in surprise. The on-screen text captures his reaction perfectly, stating honestly it blew mind. That's the beauty of football. No matter how intense the rivalry or how painful the defeat, moments of respect and sportsmanship remind you why this game is so special.
