Nattie on Avery Styles Arik Cannon situation

Nattie believes the situation involving Avery Styles and Arik Cannon needed to be resolved behind closed doors rather than in public view. She starts by acknowledging that everyone has the right to their own emotions, noting this applies broadly to fans, wrestlers, promoters, and people in general. Different perspectives are simply part of life, with AJ holding one view, Nattie holding another, and the promoter holding yet another. All those feelings are valid. Her main focus is on the value of direct communication. If she ever had a problem with Nic Nemeth, though she states she never has, her approach would be to speak with him privately. She might say something like, "Hey Nic, you weren't really polite to my cats when you came over." That kind of dialogue is crucial because it allows adults to talk things through. Even during the deepest, darkest, and hardest moments of her life, she would never take those struggles to social media or launch into a Twitter rant. Public platforms can become explosive quickly since everyone holds an opinion. The most mature path for anyone dealing with a direct issue is to talk to the person involved. You explain what you feel and pass that message along directly. Communication is key, and while everyone is allowed to feel how they want, talking it out is the better route. Nattie expresses regret for causing such a large controversy, as that was never her intention. Her goal was to share a positive message after attending GCW. The match that stood out to her the most was Marcus vs. Avery. She watched it, and TJ watched it too. It left a strong impression because it featured two young men pouring their heart and soul into the mat while working on their craft. This perspective reminds her of her early days in developmental. She recalls watching a monitor at a live event when a veteran wrestler became upset because she did not give up her chair. Nattie apologized immediately, explaining she did not know the rule. She said she would have given up the seat, but she wanted to watch the show and ensure she saw every match, believing that was the respectful thing to do. Later, a beginner pulled her aside to explain the rule: if a veteran is present, you give them your chair. It was not a major conflict, but the private conversation resolved it. She had not realized the seating arrangement was intended for veterans. She just wanted to watch the show. From that day forward, she chose a different seat to avoid upsetting anyone. The private discussion turned it into a non-issue. At that time, social media did not exist, so no one could publicly criticize her for keeping the chair. You cannot make everyone happy, but communication remains essential. If something is upsetting you, talk to the person privately and smarten them up.
