Tony Mucci Avengers Doomsday notebook vault

Tony Mucci spent two months shadowing the Russo brothers while they filmed Avengers: Doomsday, a production he describes as the most expensive movie of all time. During that period, he documented everything he saw in a personal notebook. He sketched courtroom-style renders of the sets and tried to piece together the plot details as they unfolded. On one particular day, the directors handed him iPads and headphones to use on set. Since the notebook was too bulky for his pocket, he left it resting on his chair while he moved around the sound stage. He was deeply involved in the process at that moment, standing next to the Russo brothers as they directed scenes and spoke with the visual effects team. When he returned to his seat, the notebook had vanished. This was especially alarming because he was the only person present without an access card or pass to enter the room. His lack of credentials was so strict that he had to leave a shoe at the door just to use the bathroom. Shortly after realizing the notebook was missing, eight British men who were each the size of Logan Paul cornered him on the sound stage. They demanded to know who he was and how he had managed to get onto the set. Mucci explained that he was a guest of Joe Russo. Joe Russo stepped in to defend him and allowed him to keep possession of the notebook. The situation escalated the following day. The production team created a specific timeout corner for him where he was not permitted to leave. Marvel security began calling him every single day to tell him he was not allowed to return to the studio. These daily calls continued because he still had the notebook containing all the spoilers. Security instructed him not to leave the item in his hotel room or carry it with him anywhere. Eventually, he surrendered the book. It is now locked inside a vault at the Marvel office in London.
