Bts stepping back from grammy consideration got the new york times asking if they're the only korean act with enough leverage to force the industry to change. the article points out that big asian entertainment companies might not want to fight the system, but bts, maybe the biggest act since jackson, could spark a reckoning. it also says every artist, whether bts or bad bunny, deserves access to the largest market without being filtered out.
