Rodrigo de Paul Messi jersey tribute

After Lionel Messi found the net for Inter Miami in the Leagues Cup, Rodrigo de Paul grabbed the spotlight for a different reason. He raced over and held up Messi’s jersey to the cameras, a quiet but powerful tribute to his friend on the day Messi’s father passed away. It’s the kind of gesture that goes beyond football, teammates on paper, but clearly much more in real life. YOU HAVE OUR RESPECT, RODRIGO DE PAUL.
