Christina Payton Illinois trainer charges

Christina Payton, a 27-year-old athletic trainer at an Illinois high school, is facing felony charges after allegedly getting too close to a student. She turned herself in this week for counts that include official misconduct and distributing harmful material to a minor. The report came in back in June and she’s out on bail ahead of her August 27 court date. Just another case showing why those boundaries in schools aren’t optional
