Hansi Flick wanted Ronald Araújo in his plans after a strong preseason, but Barcelona wouldn't greenlight a loan to Liverpool. Araújo pushed for the move anyway, convinced it was the best path for all sides. Tomorrow he says his goodbyes to the squad and staff before taking on the new challenge.
