Andrea Pirlo Milan to Juventus

A decade at Milan ended for Andrea Pirlo when the club refused to renew his contract and called him "old." He was 32, out of favor, and not getting minutes in 2011. So he moved to Juventus. The player Milan deemed finished went on to dominate Serie A, winning the league's best player award in each of his first three seasons there. He kept taking trophies from his former side and eventually left Italian football at 36 while still at his peak, fresh off a Champions League final appearance.
