Forgot to post it yesterday, but TheOdyssey finally arrived in Korea’s BoxOffice, taking the #1 away from SpiderManBrandNewDay after grossing $2.2M on BIGGEST WED & #2 BIGGEST Opening Day for Nolan films, only under Oppenheimer’s $4.3M holiday-boosted TUE Op Day. #2 BIGGEST Opening Day of 2026 for Hollywood, only below BrandNewDay itself. WOM is excellent, as TheOdyssey receives a strong 9.7 🥚 GoldenEgg from ticket buyers on CGV (vs Oppenheimer, Tenet & Dunkirk 9.3, Interstellar 9.6, TDKR 9.8, Inception & TDK 9.9), equivalent to an A CinemaScore, and a 9.3⭐️ audiences score on on MegaBox (way better than Oppenheimer’s 8.9⭐️) Eyeing a $11M-$14M 5-day opening in Korea, what could beat Oppenheimer’s $12.9M 6-day opening as the #2 biggest in Nolan’s career, only below TheDarkKnightRises’s $15.7M.
