Zelensky removes Fedorov amid protests

Zelensky sacked Mykhailo Fedorov, the 35-year-old ex-digital chief who made drones Ukraine's biggest weapon. His Army of Drones, faster procurement, and small robots were built to offset Russia's edge in troops and armor. Now young protesters are out in the streets, and the split is clear: old-school commanders want big forces and rigid command, while Fedorov's camp says tech-driven small teams adapt faster when plans fall apart. The crowd backing him thinks his model was working, and the real fight is over which kind of military wins future wars.
