In China’s BoxOffice, boosted by WOM out of last weekend’s limited previews, pre-sales keep growing for TheOdyssey ahead of its AUG 14 FRI Opening Day (2nd round of limited previews on SAT AUG 08 & SUN AUG 09) ending 3rd day on MON with $2.5M 3-day cume for the AUG 08-AUG16 period, with 10 days yet to go. Pre-sales Breakdown: $878k AUG 08 SAT Preview over just 805 screenings $625k AUG 09 SUN Previews over just 736 screenings $512k AUG 14 FRI Opening Day $333k AUG 15 SAT $192k AUG 16 SUN Keep in mind that right now only 15k screenings are open for bookings for its AUG 14 FRI Opening Day, so pre-sales’ pacing will keep growing the more screenings are made available The amounts above don’t include the $708k already grossed over this past AUG 01 & 02 limited previews, so the film has already $3.2M in the can.
