Dani Alves Pumas signing details

When Dani Alves landed at Pumas in 2022, the club rolled out a full-on superstar welcome. He had private security around the clock and a place in one of Mexico City's priciest neighborhoods. The team paid for his personal fitness coach and a dedicated chef. He also walked away with six months of contract money before a single match. On paper it was a double deal, a sporting contract plus an image-rights agreement to meet his salary. Per minute on the pitch he pulled in nearly 5,300 pesos. His No. 33 shirt flew off the shelves and stayed sold out for weeks, and the whole signing became one of the most talked-about arrivals in recent Liga MX history.
