Casemiro Mourinho starting lineup story

Casemiro opened up about the time Mourinho called him into his office and immediately scared him. He thought he had done something wrong, but instead Mourinho told him he knew him from his São Paulo days and that he was starting. The instructions were simple: go all out for the first 15 minutes, then shine and hit long passes without fear. Casemiro did exactly that, including a 70-meter pass to Cristiano Ronaldo, and after the match Mourinho praised him and said he was in the next Champions League squad. Casemiro said he walked out of that meeting feeling like the best defensive midfielder on the planet.
