IFAB VAR error Argentina vs Switzerland

IFAB says VAR was used incorrectly in the Argentina vs. Switzerland quarterfinal. The ref initially booked Leandro Paredes, then after review showed a second yellow to Breel Embolo for simulation, leaving Switzerland with 10. IFAB says VAR can fix who got punished but not change the on-field disciplinary call. According to them, the red card should never have happened.
