Pau Cubarsí at 19 years old won the World Cup and was named best young player of the tournament. He only conceded 1 goal the entire time, shutting down Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal, Mbappé's France, and Messi's Argentina. Some people think a defender winning the Ballon d'Or is crazy, but if Cannavaro did it in 2006, why not Cubarsí? He's a serious candidate and it would be completely deserved.
