Countries losing most tourists 2019-2025

OECD's Tourism Trends and Policies (2026) ranked countries by how much they lost in international tourists from 2019 to 2025. Israel tops the list with a 71% drop, followed by Ireland (-32%), Argentina (-23%), Peru (-22%), Thailand (-17%), Estonia (-16%), Hungary (-15%), Lithuania (-15%), Latvia (-14%), and the U.S. (-14%).
