Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of the live-action 'Naruto' film, shared his deep connection to the character. He says he has 'always felt very connected' to Naruto. Meeting creator Masashi Kishimoto only strengthened that feeling, as Cretton explains: 'When I met Kishimoto-san, the creator, it just amplified that feeling of connection.'
