Inio Asano, the creator of 'Goodnight Punpun', has explained that AI restrictions contributed to his decision to put 'Mujina Into the Deep' on hold. He stated: 'Mangaka are not allowed to use AI. But using AI actually drives up the quality by a mile... maybe it would be better to start drawing after they lift the ban.'
