OECD permanent migration change 2019-2024

New data from the OECD shows how permanent migration flows have shifted across member countries between 2019 and 2024. Poland leads with a 129% increase, followed by Lithuania (+97%), Mexico (+79%), and Spain (+50%). Other notable rises include Costa Rica (+49%), Ireland (+48%), Canada (+42%), New Zealand (+39%), Iceland (+38%), and the United States (+38%). Portugal's data is also included. The figures come from the OECD International Migration Outlook 2025.
