A new ranking from the New York Fed (2024 data, via Terzo) shows the highest-paying college degrees in America by mid-career median wage. Topping the list is Chemical Engineering at $135K, followed by Computer Engineering at $131K and Aerospace Engineering at $130K. Electrical Engineering comes in at $123K, while Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Construction Services all tie at $120K. Civil Engineering rounds out the top eight at $120K as well.
